ON ABORTION

Once acted upon the decision to terminate a pregnancy is irrevocable. In later years it may feel as though you are trying to reach out to touch something which is almost there; there in your heart but not in physical reality.  You are never far from remembering. The arm and hand in this photo belong to a man whose only child was lost to him through the abortion choice of his then partner. He worked with me to produce this image.
