ON ABORTION

"Troubadours Sailing Hibiscus Seas" is a pro life book which charts the love affair between father X and his then partner. It describes his emotional journey as he realises that the woman he loves has decided to abort their child.  Troubadours sang songs of love and this book of meditations on post abortion trauma and art is a love song to his lost child.  The ruby red hibiscus flower infused as a tea is an abortifacient.

Judith Gait BFA MA worked with father X to produce the drawings and photographs used in the book. She is profiled in Who's Who in Art, World Who's Who of Women and the Directory of International Biography. Her work is in public and private collection in the UK and abroad.
